Breakthrough sales technology launched by New World
Famous for its innovation and creative marketing, New World Developments has launched new software to make selling its composite doorsets Apeer, Monno or recently launched Diamond, even easier. Called Door Builder, it creates the customer's unique doorset on-screen and is very easy to use. A simple click/choice feature will select each aspect of the doorset and allow homeowners to 'build' a door to their exact requirements via a PC or laptop. Door Builder gives New World a spectacular market advantage as the online package is backed by technology so advanced that it is a first in the door industry.
In a showroom or at home, fabricators will guide customers through each part of the selection process with Door Builder. One of the most useful attributes is that it shows the cost on-screen with each selection click. Firstly they will select the range, Apeer, Monno, or Diamond. Then they choose one of eight different door slab configuration and its colour, then the side and top-lights and the glass design, then the hardware. The door 'builds' on screen, showing the price each time, and can be changed with a click until the customer is satisfied with both the door and the cost. The order is then placed with a click.
One of the main advantages is that any inaccuracies in the required fields will be highlighted and prevent an incomplete order from being accepted by the system. This eliminates errors from the beginning and imposes a new discipline on both parties
Fabricators become partners and connect through a intranet link to New World's fast-track ordering system. Orders and specifications are fed automatically into New World's production line, and tracked in real time, creating a paperless ordering and manufacturing operation. New World gives free on-site training, so fabricators can have confidence in the system and can also track orders online and in real time.
