New IT suite opened in New World
New World in IT revolution
Composite door and panel company New World has commandeered a special part of its Co. Antrim HQ for an advanced IT department and training centre.
Since its foundation, launching Apeer in 2004 and then Monno in '05, the company has steadfastly invested in new technology. Each part of the company, and every employee, is now involved. The sales force has rolled out to fabricators the latest mobile computer sales aids.
With its own centre, the IT department's trained team, under the leadership of IT manager Eddie McStravick, can bring together all its equipment and now more easily coordinate knowledge and breakthroughs. This suite will also be used as a training centre. Being so far ahead of the other competitors New World is keen to share new information, and keep updated, customers and staff.
New World will shortly be launching its ground breaking Door Builder programme which will show customers exactly what their door will look like on screen, and the cost. Customers will be able to show homeowners how they can select each different aspect of the door and gradually 'build' it on screen. The cost of the final door is totted up on screen as each element is selected.
“New World's Door Builder will be a completely innovative development in the door market. We have already won several awards for technical and marketing originality and leading-edge ideas” explains marketing manager Linda Tomb. “The huge success of the new Isolate, our 30-minute fire doorset and the Diamond range has shown that New World can continue to offer the products and services that both fabricators and homeowners want.”
